Messaging¶
Internal platform messaging system.
Overview¶
Messaging allows users to contact each other.
Topics¶
Topic | Description |
---|---|
Message Reply Workflows | When requester hits reply , they are taken to the website. If not signed in they are prompted to sign in. |
Additional Information Requests | Offerer requests more information about the request. |
View Message Sender Profile | After logging in, requester can see offerer profile. |
Message Directly from Application | Requester can click the Message Offerer button. |

Message Directly from Application¶
Messaging a User¶
Messaging allows users to contact each other. As a user you can contact an offerer by going to their profile page and clicking Contact
button.
In the popup you can type a message and send it. After clicking the Send
button you can see the message has been sent.
Replying to a Message¶
If a user has sent you a message via your profile on the platform you will receive an email notification with the message you have been sent. Click the link provided in the email to reply to the message and you will be redirected to the page where you need to log in (if you're not logged in) so you can reply.
After logging in you will be redirected to the profile page of the message sender where you can click the Contact
button to reply to the message.
A modal will appear where you can write a response to the message you received.
